Building up a sunburst. There's two coats of colour sprayed between taking each picture.
Just out of the paint shop, pearl pink~! Not really my kind of colour but I just do as I'm told.
Ready for the spray shop.
This came in for a setup the other day. A Berlin Pro made in June 1994. It wasn't long after that, that I left the factory to do my own thing. 23 years ago, strewth~!
Hello Facebook, its been a while~! Heres some pics of this weeks workshop goings on. One nice old Rickenbacker for a refret and refinish to the finger board and a Strat for a refret. Whoever last did the frets on the Strat must have used a whole tube of super glue to hold them in. The picture shows me using a soldering iron to loosen the glue while lifting them. Checkout the amount of glue coming out with the old frets! ... See more
Time for new frets on this Les Paul. Out with the old nickel silver wire and in with highly polished stainless steel.
Re-setting the neck angle on this Breedlove acoustic. Great sounding guitar and plays great too now~! Breedlove Guitars
This old Stalla acoustic dates back to the 1950's and it, along with its owner Jebb Nichols, will be out on tour with Robert Cray in the coming months.
This PRS was once purple, now its faded to pink. Perfectly acceptable for a US. made guitar but if you're a UK builder, expect to get your arse kicked for this kind of thing. Its true! It's been in for a re-fret with stainless steel wire. ... See more
Candy Apple Red, still my favourite colour for a strat. Gold base first then transparent red on top.
