Restoration of a 1991 American strat plus. It had been painted straight red and the neck spayed amber. The customer wanted it back to the original colour of Brandywine and logo back to its original silver. Photos before, during and after. Check out the reflection of that 10p piece. It all started with a concept drawing from the customer and ended up as this proper collection of exotic woods. Through neck construction with the centre block made from Australian She-Oak, Black Limba and Walnut stringers. The body bits are Flamed Jarrah with a Spalted Beech top. Nitro Cellulose lacquer of course. The sound and response from it is huge. ... See more
